I grew up a little country girl playing with the boys and riding like a bat out of hell on my 4-wheeler. I loved the 4-wheeler; it is probably one of my fondest memories growing up.

I had an idea that riding a motorcycle would be something that I loved, and sure enough it was. I got my first Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster in November 2005. I have lived in a couple of different states during this time and rode them all on the Sporty – Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and finally Minnesota. I have over 50,000 miles on the sporty and still she is a ‘go getter’.

After 12 years of riding the sporty, I upgraded to a street glide. She is Wendi and takes me the whole distance. I am don longer rides today and wanted to start a blog / site to share my adventures. Keep them where I can look back on them. Let other people know of good roads and moments during all my adventures.

I got Windy 2022 after an accident on my first street glide. A lady did a wide radial U-turn in front of me and ended up backing up in the road to make the turn and ended up blocking my both lanes in the road. Windy is a good girl – she has already been around the block and is rearing for more. I never saw myself as a person who would have an orange bike, but when I saw her, I knew that she was the bike for me. That was where our story started.

Started 2023 out with one weekend riding 650 miles. I am so ready to ride. Preparing for Laconia June trip! Barbara Albright and I are going to be riding the entire month of June 2023!
