On Sunday, April 28, 2024, the REVER Ride covered 325 miles from Meridian MS to Atlanta. The group split up for the journey, aiming for the shortest route to avoid exceeding U-Haul mileage limits. They made it home by early afternoon and later picked up their baby from the farm.
I have been conducting extensive research on the Natchez Trace Parkway to find interesting stops along the route. Despite some negative feedback, they are eager to experience it firsthand. The planned stops include various landmarks like Johnny Cash's Black Cadillac, the Lynyrd Skynyrd Memorial Site, and Elvis's Birthplace. The author expresses excitement and plans to document their journey daily. Their group's final plan includes a mix of camping and hotel stays, with extensive research guiding their decisions. Overall, the author is enthusiastic about the trip and believes there are plenty of things to see along the way.
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, the North Georgia Mountain Riders went on a ride covering around 150 miles. They rode to Hawg Wild for lunch. The day included a checkout ride, a visit to Alexander’s Store, a stop at Hawg Wild BBQ, and a ride to Ellijay. The day ended with some adult errands accompanied by the Shenie-butt.
