My neighbor, Andy, came by today. He parked his RV Van with a trailer and two bikes in tow in my driveway. He began to tell me the story of how he got these two bikes. There were two gents riding and trailering around the southeast. They ended up having some car trouble. Andy stopped to assist with the car trouble.
It was then decided that they would leave the trailer and bikes with Andy as they continued back to their home state of Florida. This just amazes me!! Andy and Mrs. Chris ended up taking the bikes back to them in Florida on one of their trips down just a couple of weeks later. Mrs. Chris and Andy are some of the best people I have ever met. I am so blessed to have them in my life, see them all the time across the street and have them help me at the house when I need a hand.
Amazed each time by the people who own motorcycles ……
Maybe the world is not completely gone from how I once knew it. People went out of their way for others. They were trustworthy! It totally amazes me when these situations come back up and happen again. We are all in such a rush to get through life, it saddens me some. I love the time I have on my bike. The people that I have had an opportunity to meet and those that ride like me and that I see all the time. Those have become some of my greatest friends.
Those people in my life …. Thank you.
I know that I can be hardheaded, too honest sometimes, and just a handful the rest. Thank you for tolerating me on the hard days, forgiving me on the bad ones, and loving me no matter what! You all teach me how to keep becoming a better person.
