The Group at Frank’s Cottage
Frank hosted the North GA Mountain Riders for a luncheon this past weekend. It was a great ride up to the cottage. I love learning from this large group of riders how to start to try to keep the group together. I am sponging knowledge off Ted. I can’t wait until the next ride. I am also looking forward to taking a one of the longer rides with them in the future. They are a great group to ride with and they all are good riders!

The Ride Up
Frank’s Driveway was completely full of motorbikes. I loved the sight of it. Smiles on everyone and it was visiting time and time for the “Frank Boorn Tour.” There are a couple of things that make my heart leap – know all the miles that Frank has ridden does it every time.
I can’t speak enough good about Frank and how much he cares about all riders. Barb and I are leaving out tomorrow for 25-28 days on the bikes. Frank has played a instrumental part in our trip planning, safety, and knowing that we have him being just a phone call away if ANYTHING were to happen gives me such a sense of security. I don’t get that often. I hear things, but never take it to heart. This is the one time that I know Frank means it. Anything happens on the road; he will be there. What a feeling. Frank has a reach that goes way past my folks, especially when it comes to us being on the bikes. I love him and Teresa so much for caring about fellow riders the only way they know how.

Just some Selfies

The Hugs – The Best Part!!
Frank gives out the best hugs. I think I hugged him like 4 times within a matter of a couple of hours that we were at the cottage. He hugs so tight obviously, I kept getting more! hehe. I wanted to post the hugs he gave to everyone in the group. Motorbiking really is a family and it is one that I am so blessed to have and so grateful to have in my life. It is the one strongest passion I have. It truly moves MY spirit, makes it glide.
I remember when I moved to Minnesota. The culture was so different. People did not touch each other. It had been over 6 months without being really hugged. There was a group that I had dinner with on Saturday nights, eventually they started hugging me. It was a shoulder hug, which was all shoulder bone. I like the “wrapping around” types of hugs. When I finally told some folks they were the worst huggers ever, I started getting wrapped up tight. I loved it. I should have insulted them so much sooner than I did! hehe.

The Memorabilia
Frank always shows us all the things that came out of his time on the road. I love it. I love how he framed all of it and displays it to everyone who comes to visit him! It is an amazing accomplishment.

The REVER ride!
