I met a couple of guys passing through the area. They were travelling from South Carolina. I had not been paying attention to my GPS and it was telling me to go toward Gainesville, but I headed up the normal route up 400.
I was turning around at Appalachian Biker gear when I met them. Tried to direct them to some places that could help with brake replacement, offered a place for them to stay the night if needed, and gave them my number.
It was a pleasure to meet you, Walter Martinez. Thank you for giving me a place to stay in SC too! I am one to take you up on the offer! ❤
Some selfies as I rolled around that day in the mountains. It was such a beautiful day. I pulled off on one of my favorite rivers in TN and found a nice rock to lay on the side of the river. Hours passed and I did not care. People wonder why I am terrible with time on the bike. I can make it stop ticking by whenever I choose. It is nonexistent. I love not having to live that scheduled agenda while doing the one thing I truly love. My career and the bike let my two personalities live without conflict. I wear them each like a HAT.
